National Fixing began operation in July 1991 and became incorporated in May 1994. One of the reasons National Fixing has lasted in this industry since 1991 is the key personnel who have been with the company since the very early days and have remained through thick and thin. These people are National Fixing and between them have a combined knowledge of over 130 years in the aluminum glass industry. Some of National Fixing proudest moments were from awards won from the Master Builders Association of the ACT. In 2003 National Fixing also won a Subcontractor of the Year and a Building Facade Award.
National Fixing specialises in the unusual and difficult to install designs of the modem day architect. It’s core business is the fabrication and installation of aluminum glass and building facades on commercial buildings and architecturally designed domestic buildings.
Part of the National Fixing philosophy on each project is to work in a cooperative manner with the project managers and the adjacent trades to ensure a smooth line of dialogue on site - much more pleasant for the management and the onsite staff and a better end product.
National Fixing has worked on a number of large projects in the ACT alongside some of the major building companies including working with Hindmarsh on the John Curtin School of Medical Research at the Australian National University.
